Episode Nine: Jacky Hunt-Broersma – Amputee, Ultra Runner, Cancer Survivor

Jacky had to have the lower portion of her left leg amputated due to a tumor that was found just above her left foot. Resilient and determined, Jacky took up running AFTER her leg was amputated and has become an ultra-distance runner.
In this episode, Jacky talks about how she took up running as an amputee and what she’s had to overcome in the process. Jacky also shares some of her most memorable moments from races and talks about the recent record she set!
